I’d Always Wanted to Go to Taiwan. I’d Heard a Lot of Great Things About It. I Wasn’t Disappointed!
Had a fantastic time in Taipei. Beautiful scenery, warm weather, friendly locals and great shopping. All in all, I was very impressed with the city itself. I tried my first ever hot spring there which was a great experience too!
The island itself is fairly small, with a population of just 22 million or so. Having said that, it offers such a wide variety of terrain, ethnic cultures, customs and practices.
I only spent a few days in Taipei itself, but definitely plan on going back and seeing more!
