About Nomadic Danny

Originally from London, UK, I began my career in mental health.  After earning a degree in psychology, I spent several years working in various acute psychiatric settings.

Eventually, I reached a crossroads. Despite enjoying the work, I wasn’t satisfied with the lifestyle.  I reassessed my direction, chose to pursue a location-independent lifestyle, and made the leap in 2014.

Becoming location-independent has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  In addition to living extensively in Thailand, China, Italy, and Singapore, being a digital nomad has allowed me to work and build internet businesses from various cities and countries.

Digital nomadism holds different meanings for different people, as everyone has their own interpretation of what geographical freedom represents.  Nomadic Danny was created to support aspiring nomads through my blog, YouTube channel, podcast, book, and online academy.
